PROVIDING FARMERS AND RANCHERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO PROVIDE INPUT ON HOW CONSERVATION PROGRAMS OPERATE!
Kansas Association of Conservation Districts (KACD) – Conservation districts across the state have scheduled their local workgroup meetings to be held now through early March. Districts are joining together to host one meeting in each NRCS management unit. KACD will again be assisting districts with facilitating these meetings and hope that farmers and ranchers from across the state will participate in these local meetings, provide input on natural resource concerns in their communities and provide recommendations to NRCS and other federal. State and local governments on improving conservation delivery at the local level.
You can find the meeting schedule on the KACD website or by clicking on this link: https://kacdnet.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Copy-of-2023-MASTER-SCHEDULE-of-Local-Workgroup-Mtgs.xlsx. You will note that we are offering a virtual option again this year to attend using the zoom link on the master schedule. If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call.
