The American Forage and Grasslands Council (AFGC) Conference will be held in St. Louis, MO, Jan. 11-13, 2015. All KSFGC members are also AFGC members so please consider submitting a volunteer oral or poster presentation before the August 1, 2014 deadline.

Any member can submit a proposal including farmers, extension educators, Federal and State agency representatives, researchers, and industry representatives, for either an oral or poster format. Suggested topics include: Harvest and storage management; Grazing management; Forage – Livestock interactions; Establishment; Forage breeding; Soil Fertility; Pest Management; Marketing; Extension and Outreach; Economics and Forages for Energy. The form is simple and to learn more you can go to the AFGC website, see the link on our home page.
