9:30 a.m.————– Gather and mingle at Old Hardter School

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.—- Meetings

Noon—————— Lunch

5 p.m.—————— Dinner

Agenda items are welcomed, please sent to Barth Crouch. The main focus will be to discuss how KGLC and our partners can best assist NRCS and the Great Plains Grasslands Initiative meeting and surpass their goals for restoring native grasslands in Kansas.

October 20

9:30 a.m.————– Gather and mingle at Old Hardter School

We will tour various stages of the standing dead cedar problem, including still standing, which has been Ball and Chained, and has been Ball and Chained and burned. We may have a live demonstration if it fits with the work schedules of the ranchers using this method. If there is no live demo, we will have a video presentation during the meeting on October 19th. We will inform you, for certain, on the live demo the week preceding the meeting.
