Kansas Range Youth Camp

 
Kansas Range Youth Camp has been educating Kansas youth for over 50 years!   If you know an eligible student interested in ranching, natural resources, or wildlife, share this information with them to attend an educational event like no other in Kansas!   Coming up this June 15th through 18th at Camp Mennoscah in Kingman County.   Upcoming sophomore, junior and senior high school students are eligible to attend and learn range plant identification, plant growth, stocking rate determinations, livestock nutrition, rangeland wildlife management, and much more!     Spots fill up quickly, so get signed up today!   Registration deadline is May 15, 2021.   Special items include field trips, a steak dinner, and various activities such as swimming, canoeing, fishing, and hiking.   Interested students should contact their local Conservation District, Extension Office, Farm Bureau Office, Livestock Association, and/or other local businesses for possible financial assistance (download the brochure).   This great event is sponsored by the Kansas Section Society for Range Management.   Download the Flyer Download the Brochure     transparency of usda and kglc horizontal
