RANGE EAST – What cover crops can do for you – connecting farm experience with research! This is the theme of a Soil Health and Grazing Field Day hosted by Coffee County Extension and a non-profit organization, Kansas Alliance for Wetlands and Streams (KAWS), on November 14 from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm.
This free field day aims to promote farmer discussion on a variety of topics including:
- Cover crop choices and management
- Cover crop grazing management
- Livestock water and fencing
- Soil and wildlife
- Soil water dynamics
- Yield influences – CIG research update
Featured speakers include:
