Weather analytics firm seeking input from Kansas hay growers

WxIntegrations, a weather analytics company, is seeking input from Kansas hay growers to better develop automated forecast alerts for weather influences on grass/alfalfa growth, hay cutting, raking, and baling as well as pest and herbicide control for fields tailored for Kansas growers.

WxIntegrations has been researching the impacts of weather on hay production for several years and wish to expand their research from mainly the Southern Plains to a broader region of the country and better understand the various strategies for hay production and the implications of different climates. They’ve recently released, GrowCaster WxAction Hay Opportunity alerts, that evaluates and forecasts dry periods/lower rain chances, illustrating windows hay harvesting.
