NAFA – The inaugural Request for Proposals (RFP) for our new Alfalfa Checkoff was distributed recently to public researchers throughout the country seeking proposals to be funded through the newly-created U.S. Alfalfa Farmer Research Initiative. Proposals may be submitted by any university, extension, ARS and non-profit researchers.

For those Kansas-based university, extension, ARS or non-profit researchers who may not have received the notice initially; the deadline for proposals is June 26, 2017. The project cap is $50,000 and proposals need to be sent directly to the National Alfalfa Forage Alliance (NAFA) http://alfalfa.org/. If you have questions, please contact Beth at 651.484.3888 or nafa@alfalfa.org.
