* Mark Your Calendars! The Southeast Kansas Beef Cattle & Forage Crops Field Day will be held on May 5, 2016 in Mound Valley, Kansas. Registration begins at 8:30 am with the program following at 9:00 am.

* Alfalfa weevils are still very active throughout north central Kansas; ranging in development from small 1st instar larvae to relatively mature 3rd instars.
