Rain across the state continues to hamper hay harvest and producers state that there will be plenty of grinding hay available. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor for the week of July 15th, The categorical percent area of abnormally dry conditions (D0) increased to 28%, Moderate drought (D1) remained at 6%, Severe drought (D2) increased to 2%, and no Extreme drought (D3) or Exceptional drought (D4) was recorded.
