An organizational meeting to form a Prescribed Burn Association is set for 6:00 pm, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Dreher Family 4-H Building, 2110 Harper Street, Lawrence, KS 66046.

Prescribed Burn Associations (PBAs) are community-based networks of individuals and organizations that collaborate to conduct prescribed burns on private lands. PBAs share resources, knowledge, and experience to facilitate safe and effective prescribed fire practices, helping landowners achieve their land management goals.
