Every summer, the Kansas Grazing Lands Coalition (KGLC) hosts a series of Range Academies designed to engage and educate both adults and youth on sustainable rangeland management. Our Adult Academies, including the Mixed Grass, Tallgrass (August 12-14, Elmdale, KS), and Shortgrass (August 26-28, Scott City, KS) sessions, offer hands-on learning experiences tailored to each unique Kansas ecosystem. For younger participants, the Kansas Range Youth Camp provides an immersive opportunity to explore the principles of land stewardship, grazing techniques, and conservation in a fun, educational setting. These annual camps are perfect for anyone passionate about preserving and managing our rangelands.
