There have been no new crop contracts made, as everyone seems to be holding out for test results and an increase in supply. Grass hay still seems to be in abundance, and old crop grinding alfalfa continues to move. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor for the week of May 22nd, the categorical percent area of abnormally dry conditions (D0) increased slightly to 46%, Moderate drought (D1) decreased to 34%, Severe drought (D2) decreased to near 1%, and no Extreme drought (D3) or Exceptional drought (D4) was recorded.
