After recent heavy rains, some improvements were also made in northeast and east-central Kansas. The categorical percent area for Abnormally dry conditions (D0) remained near 10.5%, moderate drought (D1) decreased to 13%, severe drought (D2) increased to 21%, extreme drought (D3) increased to near 30%, and exceptional drought (D4) decreased to 17%. ** Prices below reflect the average price.
